Wish List

We recognize that the need throughout our country and the world is great.  We also recognize that some of the best people who know the needs of children with disabilities are the parents, special education teachers and the therapists (OT, PT, SLP) working with the children.

Since we are a new charity, our initial focus will be in the communities that Dick Dunphy’s daughters live in.  Mary is an Occupational Therapist in Leavenworth, WA and Christy Rommel is a Special Education Teacher who lives in St. Charles IL.  Our vision is to steadily grow so that we may meet the needs of children with special needs outside of our communities, throughout the country and the world. In the future we will have an application process for these needs to be addressed.

Important special services not covered by insurance:

Assist very dedicated parents with the cost of vision therapy. They are doing the exercises with their kids 3x a day for a three month period.  The effects of this type of therapy are very impressive and help with academic success.  It requires private pay visits to update the exercises every 1-2 weeks with the doctor.
